Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, BLAX (formerly referred to as Adebisi) quickly made a name for himself on the national underground music scene as a gifted and passionate spoken word artist and lyricist.  After establishing the “Black Life and Xperience” movement and dominating the Midwest, BLAX shifted his focus to, none other than, the Big Apple to make his mark on the NYC hip hop market.

With more than a dozen popular mixtapes under his belt, BLAX dropped a double project in 2011 - Blaxploitation I & II - to rave reviews.  In one year of arriving in NYC with a couple hundred bucks, no contacts and nowhere to call home, BLAX continued the grind and made it happen.  Not only did he earn an internship with Damon Dash’s DD172 within two weeks, but BLAX earned the opportunity to work backstage at “Rock the Bells 2011”.

Fast forward 12 months later, BLAX capped off 2011 by making the “Top 25 Underground Artists of 2011”  list.  With nothing but the sky stopping him, BLAX is on the way. Fasten your seat belt and enjoy the “Black Life and Xperience”.
