Bronx born-and-bred DJ Laser recently released “Innovation”, on March 31st, 2013. Innovation is his debut compilation of original songs, and hottest underground records out. Released in conjunction with Da Fam Inc. and 4FUN, Laser’s debut compilation/mixtape album provides a collection of rarities and must-haves to add flair to any collection. Taking it back to the mixtape heyday of Clue, and Kay Slay, “Innovation” is a modern throwback – at once forward-thinking yet also paying homage to hip-hop’s history.

“You gotta remember the history man,” says Laser. “It started in the Bronx. It started with mixtapes. It started with shows, music, and purity. And THAT’s what I’m going to replicate.” Blending his well-versed DJ skills (he has shows throughout NYC almost thrice a week), his ear for beats, blends, and new artists, and pending takeover of terrestrial radio, DJ Laser is finally reaping the rewards of a grind almost a decade in the making.
